Shipping

Two things matter here: where it ships from, and when it actually arrives. We tell you both on every product page.

Our two shipping lanes

Portico Promise — typically 3 to 7 business days. Most of what we sell ships from a warehouse inside the United States. Orders are usually picked within 1 to 3 business days, then travel by UPS, FedEx or USPS.

Imported — typically 10 to 20 days. A small number of items ship from our overseas warehouse. These are marked clearly on the product page before you buy. They are worth the wait for the price, but they are not the lane to pick if you need something by the weekend.

Every product page states which lane that item is on. If your order contains both, they arrive separately and you are not charged twice.

Tracking

You get a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse — not before, so the link works when it reaches you.

One honest note about the imported lane: those parcels change hands from the international carrier to your local postal service partway through, and tracking can go quiet for a few days around that handover. It is normal and it does not mean the parcel is lost. If it stays quiet for more than a week, email us and we'll chase it.

Delivery estimates are estimates

Weather, carrier backlogs and holiday peaks all push transit times out. We quote the range we actually see, not a best case, but we can't control a carrier's network. If your order runs past the stated window, contact us — we'd rather hear from you early.

Shipping costs

Shipping is free on the great majority of our catalog. Where a charge applies, it is shown at checkout before you pay. No handling fees and no surprises on the final screen.

Where we ship

The continental United States. We are not currently shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories or internationally.

Address accuracy

Please check your address at checkout. Once a parcel is handed to the carrier we usually cannot redirect it, and a parcel delivered to a wrongly entered address can't be refunded.
