Wooden Wishing Well Fountain with Adjustable Flow

A wishing well built out of fir and then carbonized, which is the finish that darkens the grain and raises it instead of hiding it under paint. Water comes up through the crank bucket and pours back into the well box, and a valve on the pump lets you set it anywhere between a trickle and a proper pour.

The roof is planked and pitched, the posts are squared timber, and the basin inside the box is lined so the wood is not the thing holding the water.
