A hundred and thirty-two gallons, which is the size at which a compost heap starts behaving like one — big enough to hold its own heat through a cold snap instead of just sitting there going sour.
Open at the bottom so worms come up from the soil, vented down the sides for airflow, and with a hatch at the base to take finished compost out from underneath while the top is still filling. Made from recycled plastic, which is a reasonable thing for a compost bin to be made of.
